Create and Practice a mini-story detailing your work or home responsibilities and/or expectations
Read about Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) as it impacts Deaf Americans
During the fourth week, please:
Practice signing schedules, appointments, and calendar items
Practice adjusting calendar items to indicate regularity and consistency
Create and Practice a mini-story detailing several on-going appointments/events in your life
Read about CODAs (Children Of Deaf Adults)
During the fifth week, please:
Practice discussing other people and their situations
Practice role shifting/surrogating/depicting
Create and practice a mini-story where you depict a short dialogue between you and another person
Read about alternatives to ASL/signing
During the sixth week, please:
Practice describing and navigating around your neighborhood, including Sign Names for Cities
Practice asking someone about where they live, their favorite places, and favorite activities
Be ready to have questions asked of you about your neighborhood and all it has to offer

During the seventh week, please:
Practice and review Illness and Health signs
Practice describing symptoms and asking for assistance
